"When we Dance, the Earth Dances"

                     Tree voices

                   find echo

                and companionship

             such as to rest back

            And continue

             their playing

            These dances

           strip me

         Each breath

     a pilgrimage

                         Dancing feet

                            kiss earth

                              kiss river

                                kiss beauty

                                And she

                             in her wildness

                           thunders

                        gratitude

Dance & Movement to unlock the potency of who we really are

Join Words from the Wild

My work is weaving together threads and walking into the unknown

The path I walk forms under my feet as I walk it, rising to meet me, delighted to be emerging

I work with mystery and emergence to allow that which wishes to manifest in the play between formlessness and form

My way in was through dancing -

in the living room, out in the woods,

and later on through training

in African dance, non-stylised & environmental movement, contemporary dance & aikido

I studied philosophy & theology at university

and ever since have been finding

the meeting place

between movement and spirituality

and here it lies, within the body

the body-earth-spirit being

and the unique medicine we all bring to the spaces of our lives.

The call is clear,

to step forward and be visible,

to recognise our place in the family of things

and to honour the gift of life by celebrating it
