A little more info
For me, the landscape of being a person of mixed heritage is complex, especially when that is visible through my brown body within a white-body-supremacy landscape. And each time I am in space with others of mixed heritage I feel such a deep relief in my body, especially if we are talking about it.
The call for Kin comes from a longing to be more fully emersed in the conversation, to share experiences, to hear each other, to feel into what are prayers/intentions/longings might be, and to give space to embody them in a way that feels congruent to those of us who come together.
Kin is open to anyone of mixed hertigae for whom one parent/grandparent is either european or desended from the european colonisers outside of europe and one parent/grandparent is non-european and desended from the global majority.
I'll bring my wealth of experience of holding space, but I also come humble and curious to see, hear, feel and follow what arises in the space between us.
Kin will run with between 6 and 12 participants. Your financial contribution covers the cost of venue, shared accommodation, lunches and an admin fee. We'll bring our own food for breakfasts and create evening meals together.
Please note, there are also campng tickets available a a reduced rate
Please do get in touch if you have questions
With love in amongst the complexity of it all
