A little more info
We are rhythmic beings, part of a rhythmic earth, and when we come together in rhythm we affirm the simple potency of this within our cells.
Rhythm is a grounded pathway to solidarity, resilience and empowerment, an age old way of coming together that lifts us up and helps us meet the challenges of our lives with healthy bodies, strong spirits and open hearts.
At Rhythmic Ground we'll explore some of the fundamentals of rhythm, connection and ceremony through movement, percussion and soundscapes arising from the familiar song of the wood pigeon, inviting us towards a reclamation of our shared indigeneity.
Expect spaciousness, creative explorations, set pieces and time to play, share and celebrate.
This workshop builds on our online course 'The River', and leans into our wealth of experience working with the intelligence of rhythms from the African Diaspora. Â These traditions know how to re-connect us to our vitality and our joy as a potent route to profound well-being as we come together as tribe.
