A little more info
There’s a woman standing on the banks, and she is praying you into being. Her prayers are the deep prayers of the Earth, praying for her children, praying for her daughters.
Sisters of colour, we have been isolated and separated from ourselves and each other, though a system that has sought to keep us isolated and separated.
This evening we will come together as women of colour and women of mixed heritage, to open the inner pathways to our heart prayers and raise up those prayers with our voices.
This event is for all women of colour and mixed heritage, from any lineage. Irrespective of our backgrounds we have all been deeply affected by colonisation and systemic dishonouring based on the colour of our skin.
The singing together will be gentle, drawing from African and Gospel lineages and all taught by ear by Fran.
This session will be held via Zoom. Zoom link will be sent on booking
